Attorney Carl F. Anderson has been practicing law in Southeastern Minnesota since 1989.
Carl grew up in Rochester and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Carl earned a Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. While attending law school, Carl clerked for law firms in Minneapolis and Rochester and volunteered time with Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services.
Upon graduation, Carl served as a judicial law clerk in Olmsted County, assisting the Honorable Joseph F. Wieners and the Honorable Lawrence Agerter (retired). After completion of his judicial clerkship, Carl entered the private practice of law as a general practitioner serving the legal needs of individuals, families and businesses. Carl also held a contract with the Third District Public Defender’s Office to provide representation to indigent parties in criminal, delinquency and child protection proceedings.
Carl currently volunteers professional time as a member of the Third District Ethics Committee and with the VAP program. He is a volunteer speaker for the Dissolution and Family Custody Planning Classes, through Family Service of Rochester. Carl has served on the Board of Directors of Legal Assistance of Olmsted County and received their Volunteer Attorney of the Year award in 1996.
